some may call me a dreamer, but i don't see what's so wrong with that. i come from a family of dreamers; forever looking up at the clouds, wondering what else they could be doing. i prefer to run away from problems and hide from things of which i am afraid – this makes me a coward, but a proud coward nevertheless. i’m no wordsmith – i attempt to be at times but the results are always less fruitful than i’d like. finding an interesting quote said by someone obscure or lovely lyrics is always the highlight of my day. i love and respect the majesty of the oceans, they shape our planet more than many realise. sitting on a beach for hours, staring at the sea, watching the waves & daydreaming about being a pirate is the best feeling in the world. i appreciate the small things in life – a decent cup of tea, a hug, the smell of freshly cut grass. i also like those unexpected things – a smile from someone unknown in the street, a random phone call, a postcard from my father from half way round the world. i wish i could be a better person at times. i'm generally a happy person, but like all teenage girls, i have my moments. expect me to be a bitch, & i won't. don't expect me to, & i will be.
